Our family has a new member! Her name is Chaska. Kaidan has been wanting a small dog for a while now, so we decided to get her one for her birthday. Chaska is very cute and playful. We enjoy watching her and Kaleb take turns torturing each other. He'll make her yelp and she'll make him cry, and yet they still continue to follow each other around.
Kaidan has also been very busy collecting eggs with her Daddy every morning. She is quite the little farm girl. She loves being outside with the animals and her Daddy.
Our last couple of weeks have gone great. We have been very busy with the kids program and small groups and are loving it. It feels like things are finally falling into place and running fairly smooth.

happy birthday miss kaidan! i am so sad that i didnt get to see you open your presents and sing happy birthday to you...hopefully i can do it tomorrow! a happy late birthday song :) i hope all is going well and just wanted to let you know that i am really considering coming to ecuador next year...it seems like something i would really enjoy and if you guys are really up for it i would love to. i have been praying about it and talking to mom and dad but i feel like i need to get out and i want to explore a whole different world and i think i could do that by going to ecuador. just thought i would let yall know what was going on in my head this past week.

Did you know we have a dog named Chaska too?? Happy B-day, Kaidan! Sorry we didn't give you a call. Uncle Josh has been really sick - again! We can't wait to see you in a few weeks!
